1. When should I shop for back-to-school?

The best time of year to shop for back-to-school uniforms is June or July. By shopping early, you avoid the August and September rush. New Families are welcome to book an online virtual appointment, or an instore one-on-one appointment with one of our uniform experts starting in June 2020. Returning families are encouraged to shop online, and now have access to a live chat feature!

3. What is a backorder?

If an item is out of stock at the time the order is placed, it is placed on backorder. It can take between 2-6 weeks for backordered items to arrive at our facility. Once the backordered item arrives at the store and your order is complete, you will be notified of a shipping date.

5. How long does shipping take?

Once your order is complete, and any backordered items arrive, your package is shipped through Canada Post. It then takes between 5-7 business days to arrive at the address indicated on your order. *Please note, customers should expect shipping delays due to Covid-19

7. How do I edit my account if the student changes schools?

If the student changes schools, you can either send us an email to adjust the existing account, or you can create a new account.
To edit an existing account, please send an email to listing the account username, the email associated with the account, the current school, and the new school the student is switching to. We will be able to adjust the school for you and you will still have a record of all your previous orders.
To create a new account, you can use the same email you have previously used, just add a new username. As soon as you register the new account submit the new school code and you can login to shop.

9. Do I need to make an appointment to shop for my uniform?

Starting in June 2020 new families are welcome to book an online virtual appointment, or an instore one-on-one appointment to assist with sizing with the help of one of our uniform experts.

Appointments are not necessary for returning families; please shop online and check out our live chat window if you have any questions while you shop!

11. Order pickups at your designated ISW Uniforms store location

*Please note, our pick up policies have been updated to reflect the current Covid-19 pandemic situation. All in store pick ups are temporarily suspended at this time. All orders will be shipped to home.

2. How long will it take to process my order?

*Please note, customers should expect processing delays due to Covid-19.  Online orders are received at our stores and processed within 5-7 business days. If the items purchased are in stock, they are shipped out right away. If the items are out of stock, they are placed on backorder. Backordered items can take between 2-6 weeks to reach our facility, depending on the time of the year. A custom order can take between 4-6 weeks.

4. How much will it cost to ship my order?

Due to Covid-19, we are currently offering free shipping on all orders.

6. What is your return/exchange policy?

*Please note, our policies have been updated to reflect the current Covid-19 pandemic situation.
Any unwashed and unworn items with the tag attached can be returned for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, ISW Uniforms can provide you with an account credit for the value of the purchase. The credit does not expire and can be used for any purchases made at your designated ISW Uniforms store.
Customers returning an online order are asked to please email the ISW Uniforms location that holds your school uniform to start the process. All store emails can be found on our locations page. Your store location will inform you when curbside return hours are in operation. Upon arrival, you need to contact the phone number provided to notify an associate you have arrived. That person will then come to your car to take your return.
*In an effort to keep both our customers and colleagues safe, and to reduce the risk of transmission, all returns will be subject to a 3-day quarantine prior to being processed by our staff. Once the return has been received by our team, they’ll have 5-7 business days to inspect the item, confirm it’s in good condition and process your transaction.
Unfortunately, once an item is worn, washed or altered, or missing tags it is considered non-refundable.

8. How do I shop for more than one school?

To ensure the accuracy of all online orders, each account can only be connected to one school. To shop for multiple schools, all you need to do is create a separate account for each school. You can use the same email address when creating additional accounts, just add a new username.

10. How should I wash and care for the uniform pieces?

Most of our clothing is machine washable. Blazers and ties are the only items that need to be dry-cleaned.

Please also note that any clothing made of fleece may shrink. To avoid shrinking, we recommend washing in cold water and hanging the pieces to dry, or if tumble drying use a low setting.
